A construction worker was killed and another injured when a construction site collapse on them, in the basement of a Fort Greene brownstone this morning, authorities said.

The collapse happened at 214 Carlton Ave. at about 9:14 a.m., according to FDNY records.

Both workers were pulled from basement at about 9:41 a.m.. One was taken to Brooklyn Hospital where he was pronounced dead, officials said.

The other was taken Kings County Hospital where he was listed in serious condition, a fire rep said.

At least two of the four-story building’s units, owned by 212-214 Carlton Tenants Corp., appear to be on sale -- both one-bedrooms listed at $395,000 and $495,000, respectively.

A rep for the Department of Buildings could not be immediately reached for comment.
